  1. How is the SWAP money distributed?

*Self Sustaining Enterprises focuses on pockets of poverty. It could be a tribe, a village, a town, or a neighborhood. We assess the people in that area using four criterion; education, healthcare, employment and nutritional needs. Once the needs assessment is complete we focus our efforts on eliminating the needs in those four areas. Our goal is to see self sustaining communities replace pockets of poverty. It is a very deliberate and relentless process.

*There are also special projects that arise due to natural disasters and SWAP money is used to help meet those needs both nationally and internationally.

    * SSE also has staff on the ground in funded locations. In places where there are no SSE staff we have established strong relationships with nationals who are held accountable for all funds distributed.

  2. What if I have questions about my SWAP accounting sheet?

You can call us with any questions you may have.

SIDE NOTE: We realize that people will sometimes move a card without putting the money in the box and that the money in hand will not always match the cards swapped. When that happens just do your best to decide which card was moved without being funded. During the process we realize things will not always match up. We will distribute funds that are reflected on your SWAP accounting sheet.

  3. Can I order the posters, thank you cards, banners and other material directly from SWAP?

Yes, we can supply you with everything you need to get started. We’ve tried to make it convenient and simple to begin the program. All the graphics can be downloaded and printed from the SWAP DVD at your local Kinko’s or you can order from us and we will ship it to you.

  4. Can I get updated videos, materials and Bible studies?

Yes, SWAP material will be updated on a regular basis. Just go to our website, swapworldwide.com for the most recent updates.

  5. Can I SWAP for projects that are not listed on the SAWP cards?

Yes, if there is a specific ministry or project that your church or organization supports you can use SWAP to help their efforts. Just call or email us and we will send you cards that reflect the needs of the particular project. We only ask that you provide us with information about the organization so we can make sure it fits the overall vision of Self Sustaining Enterprises and SWAP. All gifted money must go through SWAP and Self Sustaining Enterprises will distribute the funds to your organization. An accounting of the funds sent can be verified by calling our SWAP headquarters in Mason Ohio -513-520-4422.

  6. Is SWAP a one time event or can we keep it going?

As long as there are needs to be met in the world we need to keep swapping. Our goal is to create a culture of giving in our churches, schools, businesses and organizations. Our hope and desire is that swapping would become a way of life.

  7. As I was going through the SWAP materials it talked about starting businesses that can help fund on going needs. Is that something our group can do?

Yes, just call us and we will walk you through the process. “Special T Shop” is a great way to get started.
